Funeral Celebrancy: Personal data collected in hand written form during face to face or telephone meetings is shredded as soon as we finish working together. This is usually by the end of the day after the funeral. The only hard copy information I retain is a copy of the ceremony script and the original booking information from the Funeral Director or from you directly. This information is stored in a locked cabinet for 7 years to comply with HMRC and insurance company requirements. Any electronic data or correspondence I have related to our work together I keep on a password protected computer, which is backed up onto a secure device where the data is encrypted.
